Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe is from a multi-cultural family. Born in South London. Her mother is English and her father Nigerian. She grew on a South London council estate, and when she was 14she enrolled in The Brit School. It was the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art is where she obtained the BA in acting. She was on stage in several productions as a student like the King Henry V, as Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights, as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe first began her acting career with Storm Damage. Since then she's made guest appearances for Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe scored her first motion picture in the 2007 Woody Allen film Cassandra's Dream, opposite Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor. After this success, Madekwe played Elisha in her role on the BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN and appeared for six seasons Trexx as well as Flipside. Madekwe played Bambi in the ITV2 show Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was a part of the Comedy film How to Lose Friends & Alienate People. She has performed in Little Sweet Thing, by Roy Williams, and Flight Path which was written by David Watson.
Madekwe made her US debut in the 2009 Drama series The Beautiful Life, which just aired two episodes in the US on The CW before being cancelled. Ashley Davenport, a character from ABC's Revenge drama, was chosen as Ashley Davenport. Madekwe was a regular on the drama series on ABC Revenge for two seasons. The show was announced in May 2013 that she would be leaving the series following one guest appearance on the first episode of season three. On the show Salem in 2014, she portrayed Tituba from 2014 until 2016. Madekwe wed her actor boyfriend Iddo goldberg on June 2012. Alongside Secret Diary of a Call Girl they also appeared together on Salem and he had a part alongside her in that show.

Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario with an extended family. She was raised by her parents Roy and Patty as well as four brothers who were older than them: Brett, Todd and Bram twins, Rob, and Brett. The brothers of Ashley were extremely athletic and played baseball and hockey during the summer and winter. Her childhood was spent in the arenas and baseball. Ashley did not have the ability to walk, but she danced. At the age of two, she started Baby Ballet and fell in love. Ashley began to develop a love of dancing after she started Baby Ballet. Ashley was a professional dancer throughout the various divisions up until her graduation from high school. The competitions she participated in included ballet, jazz, tap, pointe and Acrobatics. Ashley was awarded the best soloist awards at all of the main dance contests, including, International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 5-6-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, and Dance, Dance, Dance just to mention a few.
