MadisonMadison Elle Beer from Long Island, New York was an early music lover. She began posting videos in 2012 of her singing renditions of popular songs. Justin Bieber, a pop idol, discovered her version of Etta's "At Last" within a couple of months, and shared the song with his more than 25 million fans on Twitter. The coverage led to her signing a contract with a record label with Island Records, and then the signing of a management contract with Bieber's manager. Beer was also featured in a small part in Louder Than Words (starring David Duchovny) that premiered at the Cannes film festival in 2013. Her debut single, the poppy, melismatic "Melodies," also saw release late that year.Beer's vocals started appearing on other artists' songs, including Cody Simpson's "Valentine" as well as the 2015 club track "I Will Not Let You walk away" by Mako. In 2018 she released her first solo debut EP, "As She Pleases". The lead single "Home with You", which made it to the Top 30 in Norway, was also a big hit. The album made it to the top ten of the Billboard 200. Beer also released the single "Hurts Like Hell", featuring Offset that in the same year.
